Closing Costs West Hollywood Theatre reviews
Eclectic as ever
"Closing Costs presents a mix of eclectic and slightly annoying elements that make for a great experience. Starting off strong with Devils Haircut and transitioning seamlessly into more accessible pieces, the set maintained a steady beat. Moving into the mellower acoustic 'change-phase' material, the performance had a lulling effect for a significant portion. The show was overall enjoyable, with a highlight being "I Think I'm in Love" transitioning in and out of Donna Summer's "I Feel Love". Only Closing Costs could pull off that combination! One complaint would be about the low-fi quality of the sound system used at the venue, as well as the excessive amount of acoustic material towards the end. It would have been better if the acoustic pieces had been integrated earlier and more effectively."
